由衰老与肿瘤国际研究中心（ICAC）主办的第五届衰老与肿瘤国际学术会议将于2023年12月15日至16日在海口召开。
衰老是肿瘤的重要危险因素，90%的肿瘤发生在50岁以上人群，患者的年龄影响肿瘤从发生、到转移，再到治疗反应的各个方面。今年衰老与肿瘤国际学术会议聚焦定义和识别衰老驱动因子、衰老驱动因子对肿瘤发病机制的影响以及针对衰老驱动因子对肿瘤预防和治疗的影响。本次会议将邀请衰老与肿瘤研究领域具有重要影响的国内外知名专家进行大会报告，报告以“线下会议+线上直播”的方式同步进行。
ICAC是由海南医学院、上海交通大学医学院附属瑞金医院以及美国塞缪尔·魏克斯曼癌症研究基金会（SWCRF）共建的科研机构，中心使命是致力于通过创新性实验室研究、转化研究及临床研究增进对衰老和肿瘤的认知，以应对日益严重的全球老龄化问题和与衰老密切相关的肿瘤高发带来的全球健康挑战。

Invitation Letter
The 5th International Conference on Aging and Cancer, hosted by International Center for Aging and Cancer (ICAC), will be held in Haikou from December 15th. to 16th., 2023.
Aging represents the major risk factor for cancer, 90% of cancers occur in people over the age of 50, and the age of the patient influences every aspect of cancer pathogenesis, from premalignant growths, to metastasis, to responses to therapy. The focus of this year's International Conference on Aging and Cancer will be on defining and identification of aging drivers, the impact of aging drivers on cancer pathogenesis, and the effect of targeting aging drivers on cancer prevention and treatment. This conference will invite internationaly renowned experts with important influence in the field of aging and cancer research to speak in the form of "offline & online".
ICAC was jointly established by the Hainan Medical University, Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) in 2020. ICAC's mission is to advance the understanding of aging and cancer through innovative laboratory, translational, and clinical research in response to the growing problem of global aging and the high incidence of aging-related cancers.
